We act as the Data Controller for the personal data described in this policy.
Scope
This policy applies to our website, warehouse showroom interactions, and RFQ/quotation process for customers in Cyprus (primary) and Greece (available).
2) How we collect personal data
- RFQ & orders: product codes, finishes, quantities, notes, uploaded files (plans/photos), contact details.
- Accounts (optional): name, email, password (hashed by the platform).
- Communications: emails, WhatsApp/messages; we do not record calls.
- Showroom: visitor details and CCTV footage at our premises (we are the controller).
- Marketing (optional): email address/preferences if you opt in to updates (ad-hoc).
- Device/usage data: IP address, device/browser, pages visited, cookies (analytics/ads with consent).
3) Purposes & legal bases
We process your data only where a legal basis applies under GDPR:
- Provide quotes & fulfil orders — Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Customer support & warranty — Contract and Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- B2B outreach — Legitimate interests (business development).
- Website security & performance — Legitimate interests.
- Analytics & improvement — Legitimate interests and/or Consent (for non‑essential cookies).
- Remarketing/ads (Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel) — Consent.
- Legal & tax compliance — Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
4) Cookies & similar technologies
- We use a consent tool (CookieYes or Cookiebot) to show a global cookie banner, log consent, and allow granular choices.
- Strictly necessary cookies (e.g., WooCommerce/RFQ) are always on; other categories (analytics/ads) run only with consent.
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4): IP anonymisation enabled; Consent Mode v2 planned.
- Meta/TikTok pixels: used only if you accept Advertising cookies.
- You can change your cookie preferences at any time via the banner’s “Cookie Settings”.
5) Data sharing (processors & recipients)
– Hosting / WordPress / WooCommerce (site hosting provider).
– Email & file storage: Google Workspace/Drive (Google LLC).
– Forms/CRM: WPForms (and/or site CRM, if enabled).
– Accounting: Intelisoft (invoicing & tax records).
– Analytics/Ads: Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel.
– Cookie banner: CookieYes or Cookiebot.
– Couriers/Forwarders & installers: we may share necessary delivery/contact details only when you ask us to arrange delivery or to refer an installer.
– RFQ plugin: WooCommerce RFQ functionality on the site.
We do not share personal data with suppliers in China (PRC).
6) International data transfers
Some providers may process data outside the EEA (e.g., Google/Meta/TikTok). Where this happens, we rely on EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and/or EEA data regions where available. You can request information at contact@storengo.com.cy.
7) Data retention
- RFQ/Order records: 6 years after last activity.
- Invoicing/tax records: 7 years.
- Customer support tickets: 2 years after closure.
- Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe or after 24 months of inactivity.
- Web analytics raw data: 14 months.
- CCTV footage: 30 days, unless needed to investigate an incident.
8) Security
We apply appropriate measures: HTTPS, strong passwords, limited admin access, regular updates/backups, MFA for email, malware scanning, and least‑privilege vendor access. No method is 100% secure, but we strive to protect your data.
9) Your rights
You have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object (where based on legitimate interests), and data portability. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. How to exercise: use the email form on our website or write to contact@storengo.com.cy. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority in your EEA country of residence or work.
10) Children
Our services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
11) Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted as a note on the policy page with the new effective date.
